Plain-English summary (the firewall in 60 words)
Manera provides SaaS recruitment technology only. We are not an employment agency. All hiring decisions rest solely with employers. Referral bounties are employer-set and employer-paid; Manera displays this information but does not participate in bounty transactions.
Not a recruitment agency
Talent Intel is an analysis and decision-support tool. We do not act as a recruitment agency, placement agency, staffing agency, head-hunter, or employer of record in any jurisdiction. We do not solicit candidates on behalf of employers. We do not represent candidates to employers. Final hiring decisions, offer terms, negotiation, employment contracts, and all employer obligations rest solely with the licensed hiring company (Customer).
Not paid on hires (no placement / contingent / success fees)
Manera Talent Intel charges only for: (a) per-seat subscriptions, (b) per-listing fees paid up front by the employer, (c) AI scoring or outreach credits consumed regardless of hire outcome, and (d) sponsored / featured listings. We do not charge placement fees, contingent fees, percentage-of-salary fees, or any fee that depends on whether a hire happens. Successful hires generate no separate payment to Manera. Our revenue does not increase or decrease based on whether a candidate evaluated on the Platform is hired.
Referral bounties — money flows employer to recipient direct, never through Manera
Some employers attach a referral bounty to a Talent Intel job listing (a fixed amount they pay to whoever refers a successful hire). The amount is set by the employer; the bounty is paid by the employer; the recipient is identified by the employer. Manera does not set the bounty amount, does not collect the bounty from the employer, does not route the payment, and does not retain any portion of the bounty. Our role is limited to displaying the employer-supplied bounty as part of the listing. Any dispute about a bounty payment is between the employer and the recipient.
Candidate "Refer Me" feature — what it does and doesn't do
If a candidate enables "Refer Me" on their profile, the candidate consents to having their profile surfaced to relevant employers as employer-paid AI matches. The candidate is not represented by Manera. Manera does not negotiate on the candidate's behalf, does not handle offers or counter-offers, and does not collect any payment from the candidate or on the candidate's behalf. Any payment the candidate receives (such as an employer-paid referral bounty for self-referral) flows directly from the employer to the candidate, never through Manera.
Manera does not pay candidates
Manera does not pay candidates for posting profiles, completing fields, or any other platform activity. Candidates use Talent Intel because being in the system makes them eligible to receive employer-set referral bounties when hired — bounties that flow directly from the employer to the candidate, never through Manera. There is no Manera-funded compensation flowing to candidates under any circumstance.
Not legal, financial, or employment advice
Nothing produced by Talent Intel — including scoring outputs, written reasoning, chat challenge responses, interview question suggestions, salary benchmarks, or compliance flags — constitutes legal, financial, tax, or employment advice. Consult a licensed attorney, accountant, or HR professional in your jurisdiction before acting on any Platform output.
AI limitations
Candidate scoring is produced by large language models and statistical signal analysis. Outputs may contain errors, inferences, or biases the Customer is responsible for reviewing. We explicitly flag AI-inferred content. Do not treat AI output as ground truth. Always verify material claims independently.
No guarantee of hire outcome
Past Platform performance does not guarantee future hire quality or retention. Our SLA and retention-refund clauses are the exclusive financial remedies for dissatisfaction.
Third-party data
Public-footprint features use data from public internet sources (LinkedIn public profiles, GitHub, conference pages, public blog posts, etc.). Data availability, accuracy, and permissibility vary by jurisdiction. The Customer is responsible for ensuring use of such data complies with local law.
